Dubai: The Ministry of Education has put together a team to hasten the transformation process of its services into smart applications in line with the directives of the Dubai Government.

In the meantime, the ministry has developed a strategic plan for the coming phase titled “Smart strategy shift” for the inclusion all services in this framework

Adel Ahmad Al Marzouqi, director of the establishment of departmental excellence, stressed that the ministry has come a long way in this context, where smart services offered have reached 40 out of 189 offered by the ministry.

He added that students are the biggest category making use of these services at 71 per cent of users, followed by employees at 61 per cent, and members of the community at 7 per cent.

Al Marzouqi clarified that 54 services are offered by the ministry while 56 are offered at educational zones and 29 services are for schools

He also pointed out that the ministry has sought to improve and accelerate the pace of work in this context, in accordance with the directives of the UAE Government and the smart strategy shift.

He also pointed out that a specialised team has been put together to transform ministry services into smart applications headed by Marwan Al Sawalih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and the membership of Fatima Al Khajah, Director of the Educational Information Systems at the ministry.
